Course overview

Project Writing and Project Management is a learning experience of understanding better the programme Erasmus+, from priorities, features, Key Actions and Programme rules. After the  participants finalize needs assessment these results will be applied into a simulation days of creating new projects, supported by the trainer.
The participants will write their own projects; explore the projects eforms, its different sections and the EC tools necessary to complete the application forms and the ones necessary for project management. We will also explore the different stages of a project and methods of project management, so the participants can feel more confident in running and writing their own projects, in partnership matter together with other organizations.

Target Groups

Teachers, trainers, youth workers:  adults and individuals interested in developing creating thinking and entrepreneurship.
Educators from primary, secondary education and High schools or technical schools, professors from Higher Education Institutions and trainers from organisations.
The Training will be focus on the youth sector, with clarifications related to other sectors, in a smaller extend,

Goals/ Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

Better understand the Programme Erasmus+, its sectors features, priorities, Key Actions and which application forms to be used;
* Better understand what are European projects and European grants;
* Implement the experience on project writing in their daily work and get answers to questions they may have about it, related to how to fill the project application forms, prepare project budget, understand where to look for partners (youth sector);
* Make use of the source of information received in matter of tools and resources for project management.

Methodology of work

The course lasts 5 days, divided into 3 thematic days. The sessions include theory-based approach and practical workshops, based on learning by doing workshops, role playing, case studies, teambuilding exercises,  during which the participants explore the tools; and individual planning activities, to transfer the learning into the professional daily life.

Day 1: Get to know the group and the course

Day 2: Erasmus+ Intro

Developing a common understanding of the Programme Erasmus+, concept of Nonformal Education;
European Projects;
Networking between participants.

Day 4: Erasmus+ Details & Project Management

Erasmus+ Details Programme Structure Opportunities: The Hows?;
Tools for Project Management & Project Writing;

Understanding project management and project writing -  eFormsn Award Criterias;
Simulation exercise - part 1 Q&As.

Certification provided;
Course materials shared via email.

 

Day 3: Youth Work

Develop a better understanding of youth work;
Project creation: first steps Youth Work & Young People;
Erasmus+ Structure: The Whats?.

Day 5: Closing & cultural exploring

Simulation exercise - part 2 Q&As.
Course evaluation;
Formal evaluation;
Certification of the course;
Cultural visit in Poznan (optional).

 

Tuition fee: 5 days course: 480 EUR, individual participants | 430 EUR per participant, when registering a groupThe course includes certificates and materials. Cultural visits are optional and not included in the course fee.
