EUROPEAN ACADEMIES FOR YOUTH PARTICIPATION
EUROPEAN ACADEMIES FOR YOUTH PARTICIPATION was a 16 month project through which we gave the chance to young people to lead and:
Be involved in European Projects;
Be engaged in Youth academies and create own workshops and European projects;
Equipped with youth workers with tools and competences to support young people in active participation and to develop a better understanding of Youth Work, framework, quality, supporting Networks at European Level.

Youth Academies on Youth Participation & European Projects
The Project included:
The project gathered 3 partner organizations to explore methodologies which can support young people and improve youth work. The project gave an opportunity to explore further the capacitiess organizations and take young people into the European arena, supporting their ideas and working, together with them, in implementing ideas they have to reduce obstacles at local level.
As such, the project has set goals which focus on young people, but also on youth workers and on capacity building among partner organisations.
Objectives:
- To increase awareness in young people about their abilities and in how they can take advantage of EU sources for
financing their own ideas and implement them at local level.
- To train youth workers with methodologies which can better support young people to implement their ideas at the local
level and higher levels;
- To grow self-confidence in youth workers thanks to the acquisition of tools and training techniques they can use to assist
young people in their personal and local development
- To better equip youth workers in project management/design, so they can better support the partner organisations.
These objectives go along with the local needs already researched among youth workers and young people. The project prioritizes youth active participation and youth social inclusion by supporting their ideas, listening to their needs and turn them into project development and local development. The project also prioritize increased capacity of the work quality in matter of youth work and project implementation to support local development.Priority of this project is also to get a stronger partnerships and create networks, by developing capacity building throughout the project activities.
Supporting change within the youth mentality and strenghtening their soft skills will make them more confident citizens and develop their sense of entrepreneurship. To achieve this training activity, workshops at the local level and dissemination events will be implemented. It is a priority to make them active local leaders.
EU Training Academy supported the project in the following ways:

- Youth Work framework, European supporting Networks & Policies.

- A 8 months academies supporting young people in:
Creating own youth-lead iniiatives;
Reflecting on passions, talents & strenghts and its potential to be turned into projects;
Understanding European Projects & Crating own projects.
